Dear Friends,

Many of you know or have heard about my plans to blow this popsicle stand and I’m sure a lot of you have heard enough of it...but pretty soon you won’t have to hear it anymore.  I leave Oct 20, 2008 and I’m probably not coming back.  Where will I be?  Who really knows, but I’ll be updating this website to the best of my abilities if you are ever curious.

In many ways the word ‘trip’ doesn’t do my plans justice.  Maybe because the trips that people normally take are predetermined vacations or holidays.  They start and end at a certain time and are generally designed to relieve stress and alleviate the mundaneness of everyday routine.  My trip will be decidedly different than this.  Actually, I think the true definition of the word (above) explains my trip completely because in general, all I will be doing is going from one place to another.  But I’ll be doing this countlessly and, from what I can see, endlessly.  And it truly will be a journey.  A journey to new places with new cultures and I know it will be the greatest trip of my life.  In fact, as the title of this site suggests, for the next little while, it IS my life.  I’m hoping to see old friends, meet new ones and find genuine experience.  All in all, I know I will have some great stories to tell and amazing experiences to share.  I will be posting some of these stories on this site as well as photos, videos and blogs.  So come back soon and often if you’re bored at work, need a study break or if you want to live vicariously through me.  Hopefully there will be something of interest for you here.

Oh and I’m sorta new to this whole website thing so if you have any suggestions, I will gladly accept them and most probably heed them as well...:)
